Osteoscan UK Ltd was the first company in Britain to offer commercial bone mineral density measurements with the EchoS diagnostic tool using REMS technology (radiofrequency echographic multispectrometry), developed by Echolight SPA (Italy).

Using the EchoS system Osteoscan UK provides access to earlier measurement of bone mineral density than DEXA, with immediate easy-to-understand results.

Nick Birch
FRCS (Orth)
Nick is a co-founder of Osteoscan UK and is our Managing Director.

He is a Consultant Spinal and Bone Health Specialist based near Daventry, and Spine Editor for the Bone and Joint Journal.
​
He is a Fellow of the British Orthopaedic Association and a member of the Royal Osteoporosis Society, both organisations being leading partners in the National Osteoporosis Guidelines Group (NOGG).
Sarah Pillage
MBA
Sarah is the Sales & Marketing Director for Osteoscan UK.
​
She has an MBA from Warwick University Business School.
She was an editor in commercial publishing before changing career to train as a pilates instructor and to run the very successful Way of the Spiritual Warrior Martial Arts and the multiple award-winning The Pilates Centre in Coventry.
